We have in development right now an extreme version of the M3 CSL for road use! Whilst we loved the basic CSL as a road car, we feel that it sits a little uncomfortably between a track car and road car. It is a bit too harsh as a general road car, and compromised as a track car. In our opinion, BMW really should have made something more akin to the Porsche GT3 clubsport or even the GT3-RS.
So, we decided to do it, using everything we had learned from building our CSL-GT race car. The care is now in its first stage of build with more to come over the next few months.
